A Havan is a sacred fire ceremony in which various forms of the Divine are invoked in a sacred fire that has been kindled according to the guidelines in the Vedic scriptures. Havan Kund is the center place in a Havan in which the fire is put and all the oblations/offerings are made. Certain special offerings are made into the fire while Sanskrit Mantras are chanted. It could be considered like a sanctum sanctorum for a Yajna. The combination of the powerful energy of the fire and the Sanskrit mantras creates extremely auspicious and purifying vibrations that are beneficial to all who attend the Havan/Homa.

Functionality: Decornt Havan Kund / Hom-Kund, is used in Indian religious ceremonies into which certain special offerings are made into fire while Sanskrit mantras are chanted. The structure of the havan kund itself generates energy to perform the rituals. This Havan Kund can be used in religious ceremonies conducted at home, temples or at any family ceremonial functions. The handles at the sides makes it easy to carry.

Material: The structure of this Havan Kund is made of sturdy Iron. The exterior of the kund is made from premium quality Copper & Steel.

Approximate Dimensions: Length 17 Inches X Breadth 17 Inches; Height 5 Inches; Weight 3 Kgs.

Durability: The Havan Kund is long lasting, heavy, strong & sturdy. Due to exposure to fire & other offerings made into the kund for long number of hours, strong residue of the havan gets collected in the kund. This can be cleaned by soaking the kund in water for couple of hours and then cleaning it with copper-cleaning powder. Use a coarse scrub initially followed by soft scrub.
